Kathy Mitchell draws upon over 25 years of extensive strategic and operational Human Resources experience to design and implement Innovation Works’ strategies for portfolio companies in the areas of talent acquisition, organizational development, workforce planning, leadership coaching and development and training. 

Before joining Innovation Works, Kathy was Vice President Human Resources for McKesson Automation Group, a $300M, 1850 employee business within McKesson Corporation.  Kathy joined McKesson with the rare opportunity to direct the human resources activities of start-up company Automated Healthcare as it grew exponentially through technology excellence and market dominance.

Prior to joining McKesson, Kathy worked at CBS Corporation and Westinghouse Electric Corporation for 20 years, where she developed a diverse human resources career in service, engineering, and manufacturing operations.  She held a consulting position as a training consultant with The Continental Group, Inc. and worked two years as a sports writer/journalist. Kathy holds a degree in journalism from Lehigh University
