High-Potential Interns

IW provides MBA and undergraduate engineering interns to our region's early-stage technology companies and manufacturers looking for the next competitive edge. They can provide spot solutions to critical engineering or market research problems, while giving company managers an opportunity to ‘test-run’ potential employees.

The results? In follow-up surveys, more than half the companies reported hiring or planning to extend an offer to their IW intern following the project, and 86% of the interns said the experience helped to convince them to establish their careers in SW PA.
