As prices fall, use of cost-saving LEDs increases

Nationally, LED light installations are still a very small percentage of the light market, mostly because of their higher price.  Appalachian Lighting Systems manufacturers LEDs to the commercial and municipal sectors, but recently moved into the residential market.  They plan to start selling the lights online directly to customers offering products with a higher quality and longer lifespan, either the same price or lower than LED’s currently on the market.
