What makes you the best person for your role?
I have always had a passion for optimization in all aspects of my life. I have valuable experience in Business Analysis, Project Management, and Salesforce Administration, with some more specific technical knowledge in a few areas like data analytics and programming. My ability to understand the nature of problems and to discern the ideal state of a process/platform tends to be very valuable for getting the most out of our resources.
What is your favorite thing about working with startups?
It’s always exciting to hear about cutting-edge ideas, and even more exciting to actually be able to play a role in the success of these young companies. So many of the most impactful companies in the world barely got through the start-up phase and only persevered due to luck or heroic effort. It is great to feel that our work here is providing support to companies that might have otherwise had a harder time getting off the ground.
What is your favorite thing about living and working in Pittsburgh?
Pittsburgh has most of the positives and very few of the negatives that I associate with other cities, but the favorite has to be the general air of friendliness that I experience through all facets of my days. I can’t count how many times complete strangers have gone out of their way to help me out and it makes me want to do the same whenever I can.
Where can we find you outside of work?
It changes drastically probably every 6 months but recently you can find me at the basketball or pickleball courts in Greenfield! I have also been racking up some miles on the city bike trails and will be heading to Seven Springs for some snowboarding as often as the winter allows. I also go to dozens of concerts a year and love to frequent the Roxian, Thunderbird, and Stage AE.
