What makes you the best person for your role?
I am endlessly fascinated by emerging technology and the power it has to transform our world. I have worked in different industries including advertising, AI/ML, autonomous systems, transportation, workforce development, sales and ethics. These experiences drive how I help companies tell their stories to the right audience in the right format. No project is too small or too complex! I love helping others grow and frequently leverage my network to create meaningful connections in the Pittsburgh Region..
What is your favorite thing about working with startups?
I am always inspired by the determination and grit our entrepreneurs have. They are the heroes of our stories and working with entrepreneurs means every day is exciting and new. I think the added bonus is that they are local founders. Who doesn’t love rooting for the home team?
What do you love about living and working in Pittsburgh?
Working in Pittsburgh is unique because everyone is so well connected with each other, I never know when someone from my past is connected with someone I am currently collaborating with. The tech community is so supportive and that makes my job of connecting entrepreneurs with people who want to help them succeed so much easier!
Where can we find you outside of work?
I serve on Duquesne’s Board of Governors and the Pittsburgh Zoo’s Pride Advisory Council. So if I am not home with my husband, bird, and dog, you can find me at one of those places!
