What makes you the best person for your role?
I love making connections with new people and I love leveraging those connections to help my network. In the Platform role, I can use these talents to make sure that our IW portfolio companies are getting all of the wonderful things IW has to offer: our networks, resources, and programs.
What is your favorite thing about working with startups?
The energy of the founders! They are disrupting markets, working around the clock, and constantly making moves to get their product to succeed. If I could bottle startup founder energy, I’d make a fortune!
What do you love about living and working in Pittsburgh?
Pittsburgh is an amazing place to grow a family and a career. There are so many resources to take advantage of in the city and the community is really supportive. I’ve been in Pittsburgh for nearly 15 years and have watched it grow into one of the most livable cities in the country.
Where can we find you outside of work?
My daughter rules my free time! You can find my little family at Kennywood, the Pittsburgh Zoo, National Aviary, or one of the many other family-friendly places in Pittsburgh. I also enjoy cooking, trying the new restaurants in Pittsburgh, and traveling.
