Today’s new technology is providing tremendous opportunity for new companies to develop and launch new hardware and Internet of Things products for consumer and industrial markets. Our region has significant strength and resources in technology and manufacturing in a variety of industries. There is a growing opportunity for young hardware businesses to establish manufacturing supply chain partnerships regionally and domestically – increasing opportunities for existing manufacturers to engage in new technologies and markets, while building new streams of revenue as their partners become commercially successful.

The Scalable Innovation program expands business opportunities for both manufacturers and startups to overcome inherent challenges with scaling business. We will help members of the startup community build strong supply chain partnerships with regional and domestic manufacturers. Startups will benefit from the expertise of experienced manufacturers in real time and close at hand, who can help overcome engineering, design and other technical challenges so the startup can reach commercial success faster and more efficiently, and control the supply chain.
